Iolair investments is a real estate development company with the brothers Moss and Sean Kelly as the majority shareholders. The brothers focus on small opportunities in their areas and regions of expertise and believe that by balancing opportunity and risk they can find niche developments to suit their needs.

The other half

The inspiration for the name Eagle Investments comes from 2 sources. Firstly, the eagle is known for its ability to soar and swoop. It continues to soar, surveying the terrain looking for opportunity, scoping out the environment waiting for a well analysed opportunity and then swoops, fast, quick and deadly. Our development philosophy is to soar and then swoop when the opportunity is right. Not all swoops will lead to success, external influences may change the situation and therefore likelihood for success, but this doesn’t mean our strategy will change. Of course no swoop, means no food, so while we expect setbacks it will not deter us.

Secondly, an eagle is a very desirable score in golf. It’s a 66% return effectively. Golf pros make about 5% of them a year. So for an amateur they’re like unicorns. Given our shared love of golf we thought it an appropriate name.
